Two British "Queens" up for sale on Autotrader: Sir Elton John and Queen Elizabeth II’s cars hit the market

Car enthusiasts can now own a piece of British cultural royalty, as both music legend Sir Elton John’s 1973 Rolls-Royce Phantom and Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 2007 Land Rover Range Rover have gone up for sale on Autotrader, the UK’s largest automotive marketplace.

The 'Rocket Man' singer and the late monarch are both renowned for their style and unmatched status, and these exceptional vehicles are no exception.

Sir Elton's meticulously restored Phantom VI is listed for £299,950, while the late Queen's authenticated daily driver is available for £125,000 with 127,201 miles on the clock.

Sir Elton John’s Rolls-Royce Phantom VI is one of his most iconic “rock and roll” luxury cars, finished in black with tinted windows and a fully reworked interior featuring a television, video system, fax machine, and a 36-speaker stereo powerful enough to require rear window reinforcement. It has been used primarily for high-profile occasions, premieres, and royal engagements, including transport to Buckingham Palace for his 1995 CBE ceremony.

The lucky new owner of Her Late Majesty’s Range Rover will be getting a unique piece of royal history, even complete with images of her driving it at Sandringham and the Royal Windsor Horse Show which appear in the official documentation accompanying the vehicle. It’s also been specially modified for Royal use, featuring a fitted dog guard and the two location holes for securing grab handles, which were installed to assist the late Queen when entering and exiting the vehicle.

Truly fit for royalty, both models are standout additions for any serious car collector.

While their respective legacies in music and history are undisputed, their taste in cars is equally legendary. These vehicles are built for absolute prestige and command - qualities both icons displayed throughout their lives.

It’s not often you get the chance to step into the shoes, or the driver's seat, of actual British royalty. Whether it’s the show-stopping elegance of Sir Elton’s Rolls-Royce or the rugged luxury of the late Queen's personal Range Rover, these vehicles are absolute powerhouses of history. Because they offer a rare opportunity to drive like true icons, they won't stay on the market for long. For any fan or collector, this is a unique chance to own an elite ride that carries a legacy just as impressive as it looks and we’re proud to help facilitate those sales as the UK’s largest car marketplace.
