Auto Trader receives ‘IPA People First Promise Badge of Honour’

Auto Trader has been awarded the highly acclaimed People First Promise badge of honour from The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.

The People First Promise initiative was launched in January of this year by IPA President Josh Krichefski to encourage those in the advertising and media industry to declare their duty of care to their employees and to clients. To be awarded, organisations must demonstrate their support of their employee’s mental health and wellbeing, through the three core categories of the Promise, to ‘Empower, Support and Prevent’.  This can only be achieved by providing evidence of how organisations have incorporated these three core principles to actively support their teams, either by using their own resources or by utilising the IPA Adland Wellbeing Lab, the online portal launched to support the initiative which provides resources, advice and training in this area.

We are really proud to be recognised by the IPA for the work that Auto Trader has delivered to prioritise employee mental health and wellbeing. Ensuring our colleagues have more good days at work is fundamental to the success and wellbeing of our people and our culture. We will continue to strive for progress in this area to ensure we are constantly developing our inclusive working environment for all."
