Autotrader hosts Carbon Literacy Trainer Celebration
On September 9th, Autotrader hosted the Carbon Literacy trainer community for the annual Carbon Literacy Trainer Celebration Evening.
Hosted in the Autotrader Skyline event space, the evening brought together certified Carbon Literacy Trainers (CLTs), Carbon Literacy Consultants (CLCs) and Carbon Literacy Training Organisations (CLTOs) to share experiences and celebrate their achievements in Carbon Literacy. With drinks and Caribbean-inspired vegan food from ARMR and stunning views across the city, it was a chance to recognise the growing community helping bring climate action into workplaces, sectors and communities across the UK and beyond.

Honouring Carbon Literacy Training Organisations
The evening also celebrated the Carbon Literacy Training Organisations (CLTOs) that have made a significant contribution to the growth of Carbon Literacy through the quality, breadth and scale of their training.
With Manchester being the birthplace of Carbon Literacy and now the UK’s second city (with No 10 North down the road), and Autotrader’s key position both in the city and in expanding Carbon Literacy, it was the perfect meeting point for our network of trainers. We were honoured to still see strong representation from Scotland and Wales – special thanks to those trainers who travelled from afar to meet peers in the community.
Natalia Phipps, Deputy Managing Director at The Carbon Literacy Project
We're delighted to host this evening of celebration, reflection and delicious Caribbean food! To be able to celebrate our fourth year as a Carbon Literate Training Organisation is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our people and we're really grateful to be a part of this community.
